The Jakarta provincial government has announced it will spend Rp 288 billion ($21 million) to fix erosion problems on the banks of the Ciliwung River this year. The river naturalization project will take place on stretches of the river near Shangrila-Karet, Sudirman-Manggarai and Ciliwung Lama.
