Honda Bikes Get 5-Year Frame Warranty without Any Mileage Requirement
Jakarta. Astra Honda Motor (AHM) recently announced that Honda motorcycles would get a frame warranty of up to five years without any mileage requirement.
New motorcycles received by customers after Oct. 25, 2023, are eligible for this warranty. The warranty also applies to all models of AHM motorcycles, be it scooters, cubs, sports, electric two-wheelers, as well as big bikes. AHM will also provide a comprehensive warranty with extended mileage on PGM-FI injection components for five years or 60,000 km, engine warranty for 3 years or 36,000 km, electrical and frame component warranty for 12,000 km. This warranty applies to all motorbikes produced by AHM and premium-class Honda motorbikes.
“We wish to boost our customer’s satisfaction and give them a more enjoyable riding experience for Honda customers as we provide technology and the best after-sales service that are available across the Indonesian archipelago,” Octavianus Dwi, the director for marketing at AHM, was quoted as saying in a recent press statement.
Customers who received their eSAF-equipped Honda motorbikes prior to Oct. 25 can also access free frame check services at the local Astra Honda Authorised Service Station (AHASS) or contact the 24/7 contact center 1-500-989.
There are 3,736 AHASS service stations spread across the archipelago. Every year, the technicians also take part in technical skill contests across different levels, be it regional, national, Asia, or at global level. AHASS technicians also became the world champion at the 2023 Honda Global Technician Contest Motorcycle (GTC) in Tokyo, Japan. Customers will always be served by competent AHASS technicians.
