Jakarta. Indonesia Financial Group (IFG) is taking part in the "Mudik Nyaman Bersama BUMN" program initiated by Indonesia's state-owned enterprises (SOEs).

This program lets Indonesians travel to their hometowns for free. Every Eid, millions of Indonesians will return home, marking the country's largest exodus. IFG and its subsidiaries — PT Jasa Raharja, PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia, PT Asuransi Kredit Indonesia, PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia, PT Asuransi Jiwa IFG, PT Bahana TCW Investment Management, PT Bahana Sekuritas, PT Bahana Artha Ventura, PT Bahana Kapital Investa, and PT Grahaniaga Tatautama — dispatched 25,304 travelers using two modes of transportation: 182 executive buses carrying a total of 7,804 travelers and 37 trains carrying a total of 17,500 travelers.

On Wednesday, IFG dispatched one executive bus specifically for 26 travelers with disabilities to Yogyakarta. This has been modified to provide more space and comfort. Travelers with disabilities can also be accompanied by their family members. Today, IFG also dispatched 41 regular executive buses to Cirebon, Tasikmalaya, Pekalongan, Purworejo, Magelang, Kudus, Yogyakarta, Wonogiri, Surabaya, Madiun, and two cities in Sumatra, Lampung and Palembang, with a total of 1,968 travelers.

"Mudik is an annual tradition eagerly awaited by the Indonesian people. Based on the high enthusiasm of the program in previous years, the IFG Group continues to support the Ministry of SOEs' initiative to provide a safe and comfortable homecoming journey for the public," said IFG President Director, Hexana Tri Sasongko.

IFG is also providing accident protection during the homecoming trip through the support of IFG subsidiaries Jasa Raharja, Askrindo, Jasindo, and IFG Life, with coverage of up to Rp 100 million ($5,897), which covers the risks of death, total permanent disability, medical and treatment costs due to personal accidents, and other coverage.

All participants also receive homecoming attributes, free health check-ups provided through the Healthy Cars from Jasindo and Mandiri Inhealth, and the Smart Car (MoPi) facility from Askrindo, which offers educational and children's games. IFG has assigned a liaison officer to ensure that travelers with disabilities can travel safely to their destinations.

"Through the IFG Group collaboration, we strive to provide homecoming services that are not only comfortable but also safe and protected throughout the journey. We hope this program can help people experience a more peaceful journey back to their hometowns," IFG Corporate Secretary Denny S. Adji said.
